Artist's Comments

Envisioned this tutorial due to the large amount of people that do not know how to accomplish this effect using Photoshop, and that really don't like brushing by hand.

Sorry for the large filesize (2.07mb) and 700x7000, but I wanted to make it as detailed as possible so that no matter how novice you are with the program, you are able to create this effect.

Tools: Photohop 7
Total Time: Around 6 hours in bits and pieces starting this morning.

Comments, critique, typos reporting ;) and :+fav:s very much appreciated.

As with every tutorial, you don't learn from a tutorial if you just followed the steps word by word and left it at the last step. Go further beyond the last step and let your imagination and your ingeniosity (sp?) flow, this is how I got the idea for this technique. Also, please feel free to note me so that I can see what you created with this tutorial and contact me to tell me what you found out by going on beyond the last step, it is always good to shre the knowledge.
